A Very Typical Gregg Popovich Media Day

We all know Popovich doesn't say much to the media...but I think today he hit an all-time high. All these are 1-2 line responses LOL.

Q.  Between Tony's hamstring and Manu's struggles, is this a little more concern than you guys usually have this time of year?
COACH GREGG POPOVICH:  I haven't compared it to other years, but I'm not worried about anything that you just mentioned; they're fine.

Q.  Coach, there was conversation before Game 4 that the Heat might make a lineup change.  Did anything that they did in that case take you by surprise in any way?
COACH GREGG POPOVICH:  No.

Q.  With some time, I know you're not going to give away strategy, but with some time before Game 5, is it possible you may do something different?
COACH GREGG POPOVICH:  I'd hate to be trite and say anything is possible.  Your question demands my triteness.

Q.  Could you just update Tony's condition, how he's looked the last two days, especially after the second half where there was certainly a drop‑off from the first half the other night.
COACH GREGG POPOVICH:  As I just mentioned, he's fine.

Q.  Coach, could you sort of address Chris Bosh's impact on this series.  Over the last three games he's had double‑doubles.  He had been struggling with rebounding.  What have you seen from him?
COACH GREGG POPOVICH:  Chris has played very well.

Q.  Anything specifically he's doing that you didn't necessarily see on film before?
COACH GREGG POPOVICH:  No.  What he's doing, I've seen him do a lot.

Q.  Could you just talk a larger perspective of where the NBA game is now.  You obviously had Robinson and Duncan had‑‑
COACH GREGG POPOVICH:  You're not serious.  You want me to talk about the state of the NBA?

Q.  No, no.  The fact that teams are going small now more, and‑‑
COACH GREGG POPOVICH:  I only care about what's going on right now in this series.  I'm not concerned about trends in the NBA.
